You have to use modifided shiftlinkage for that swap right?I would think you'd still use the part for the linkage.There's about a 1/4 inch difference in the balls of the 1st gen rex and the 88-00 civic/rex shifter.I think they're the same from 88-00 anyway.Just different lengths and bends but the working part is the same.
