SiR Y1 Tranny into 91 LS integra Question
I found a Y1 transmission off of a SiR CRX with a grind in 3rd at 8,000 rpm shifts. I want to drop it into my car which has a b18a LS motor in it right now. I'm building the car for HPDE events and was wondering if I should buy the tranny with the grind @ 8,000rpms. I don't take the motor that high since it's an LS so what do you guys think? It's going to cost me $400. I was thinking some syncro mesh can fix it if it's slight but you never know with these things, all I know is it has the grind at high rpms. Is it worth it?
