ticking in head
well recently i can hear what seems to be my cams rubbing on my valves. and when i rev it up i can hear a loud singular tick. when i go to turn it off i can hear metal on metal when my car is at like 500 rpm and lower shutting off.
my question is, will a valve adjustment fix my problem? or do i have a bad valve(s) tany help would be greatly appreciated |

Your best bet is to adjust the valves first then start it up and see if the noise got any better. Honda's always have a tick anyways. But it doesnt hurt to adjust the valves if you have never done it. If you do adjust them and the noise didn't get any better then you might wanna check to see if you have any metal shavings inside the valve cover or try to see them when you drain you oil.
