? has anyone ever done the timing belt and water pump on civic 96-98 ex civic them selfs??? wondering how difficult or easy it is.....is it a very labor intensive job???

just make sure you have a really big breaker bar so you can get that crank pulley bolt off. everythign else is pretty easy, but make sure you read and reread the whole process be fore you start because once you start you have to finish it.

if you stop in the middle your car will not run, and if you do something wrong your car will break.

but really its not that hard just make sure you have ALL the right tools.

I would say its about average, not too labor intensive but does require you to line up your timing correctly.


Get a helms or read some write up and go for it.
