My friend has a 91 crx with a b16a and he just replaced his intake manifold and now it has a problem warming up. The intake manifold didnt have a spot for the FITV(fast idle thermal vavle) if that has to do anything with it. Also the coolent is bypassed the throttle body and intake manifold which means there is no coolent to close idle air controle valve. does anyone have any ideas on what is going on?

You still need to at least have that part hooked up! the throttle body is mechanical! when its cold it knows to open the throttle plate more.. after it warms it closes! Its thinking right now its ok! give it a try
