Question What are these things?

1990 Honda Civic Dx
DB6 SOHC ZC Engine

Wanna know what this rotting/rusting thing is at the back of my car, just need the name of it. I'm looking to replace seen as it has broken on me once before and i had to weld it back and it looks like it will break again any day now in a different spot.

I tried to outline it so here goes.

Ok thats 1 down. Next thing i want to know is what is this tube i had to plug with a gold screw so air would stop escaping from my intake manifold? Is there suppose to be something blocking it off like what the screw is doing now or is there suppose to be another tube leading from it and connected else where. Any help will be appreciated.

Once again i tried to outline/circle it so here goes:

The thing underneath your car is the rear subframe. Not sure about the other question...

For your second question, if there's no sensor on any of the intake manifold runners, then it looks to be your IAT Sensor.

The IAT sensor wouldn't be run like that... I don't think.. What motor is this?

From the way it looks, it sort of kind of looks like a purge cut off solenoid valve.. Does that line run to your charcoal canister?
