Automotive Addict
Hello everyone, I just became a member of these forums. I currently own a 1992 Civic DX and just swapped the motor and transmission. I had a B16a2 put in from a 2000 civic Si and a Integra GSR transmission. I only have one delema. I want to go forced induction since I am addicted to boost. My last car was a 2005 Dodge SRT-4 with an AGP .50trim Big Turbo Kit with all fuel maps done by yours truely on a DTEC Fuel Computer(the gameboy advanced interface). I am debating between a supercharger setup or a turbo setup. And I would like to get some input before collecting the parts and starting the build-up. Pro's and Con's of both setups would be nice, I've done some searching of these fourms of course but, I'm looking for more input. Thanks all.

Here's a picture of my old car, Pictures of the new car I will post tommarow.

first of all welcome to the sight. nice srt-4. I personally don't think those cars deserve to be called neons it is like a downgrade to the car. Anyways it depends on your goals for the car. If you want a drag car I would say it would be in your best bet to do a turbo setup and most likely no matter what turbo would be better off although your car with a supercharger setup along with other mods and a good tune would be sick. I think it would be awesome having more low end torque with a b-series motor. I say turbo would be better because it takes zero power of the motor where as the superchargers are said to take anywhere between 25-40% of the power the motor pushes out to run. So therefore a turbo is pure power where as the supercharger takes power to get power. There are other people on this site who can give you more knowledge they will be around soon.

Welcome to HS! I would go turbocharged, a nice 50 trim wouldn't hurt. I am in the middle of boosting my eg hatch w/b16a engine.

Welcome.

Hey LS you got a build thread or not, I wanna boost my B16 and would be nice to see what other people are doing.

Pictures of my honda

I put up pictures of my srt-4 yesterday and said I would put up pictures of my honda...so here they are and btw, I have a carbon fiber hood coming so don't give me too much crap about the hood and I bought the car with GSR Wheels that were pre-curb rashed like no other :)

As ruff as that car may look. It deff has alot Potential, with some TLC on the paint job.

I think the carbon fiber hood will fix the issues. and look good with that gold paint. But some si wheels, ls webs, or even some new gsr blades would look nice on there. I would personally go with the gsr blades since you kinda have a theme of gsr goin on.

New Wheels Coming

Some shiney GSR blades would be sick now that I think of it. I might switch to a set of some GSR's blades if the rims I purchased don't please me, I'm never satisfied anyway. These wheels I purchased are Nexo TS-8's in gunmetal, I needed new wheels because my rear driver side wheels has a pretty ugly crack on it which looks like it was filled before they sold the car. The only vision set in stone that I have for this car is a CF hood(on its way should arrive this week ::crosses fingers::) and I'm sticking with a gold paint job. Not the current paintjob tho, I need a quailty one soon..only if money grew on trees.

Buy a paint gun, a da, and if you don't have a compressor one of those and some masking stuff and paint it yourself. Painting is a ton of fun and doing it yourself would save you a lot of money too. Plus you could paint it before you put the carbon fiber hood on it and sell the brand new painted hood.
