Recently my girlfriend and i broke up and therefore our pit bull izzy has no home. Neither my ex or I can take care of her on her own and we are looking for a good home. I love this dog like my own child and i want her to go to a good family. She is friendly to all people, good with small dogs but has shown agression around larger more boisterous dogs. If any one here is interested in meeting her or if you have any questions pm me and we will get together. Located in Newington ct, Thanks alot for the view.

My lease is almost up and i cannot find another place to live so i have to move back with my parents possibly, also most complexes won't allow pit bulls for tax reasons. I wish i could keep her but dogs are alot of work and i can't do it myself. She needs a good home!!

I can prolly watch her for a while, and you can come visit her anytime until you get a place that will accept her. Just bring her by and see how she acts around my yellow lab. My neighbor is looking for a dog as well...and they just put down 2 rotts that were old and in pain.

Have you tried the humane society on the turnpike to see if they can help. I know that for golden retrievers there is a golden rescue place that finds foster homes for goldens and then finds homes for them with careful screening of new owners. I wonder if there is something like that for pit bulls. If it was a bull dog I would have taken him.

Humane society is full and keeps putting us off, we also looked for pit bull rescue organizations but none were of any help. She really just needs a good home, we rescued her from the pound half an hour before she was to be put down and i don't want to stick her back in a shelter(even tho the humane society is no kill). Its either we find a good home or the humane society basically.
