i have a 92 civic with a d16z6 swap. i have a high idle at 4000rpm then comes down to 2350rpm. changed intake manifold and gasket didnt change anything. changed wires around got it now at 2000rpm. checked all vacum lines there good. checked idle control module it works. but if you take a rag and cover the throttle plate where the cold air goes it will idle right down depending on how much you close it off. please help cause i already spent like 4hours on it and im ready to burn the damn thing. thank you

^Holy crap

What wires did you change around?

You wrote you checked the idle control module, how did you do that?

What good is this gonna do?

I was wondering the same thing.

Couple things that could cause a high or erratic idle are TPS, IACV or improperly routed vacuum lines, possibly the MAP also.

Good God buddy! Is English not your first language, or are you just a complete idiot??? :slap:

Please try and put a tiny bit of effort into writing halfway legible sentences in the future...
