I'm putting a jdm d15b zc in my crx but i dont know wat ecu to get and i need to get a water pump and timing belt but i dont know wat car this came from

Well, I would probably try using the ECU that goes with the motor. That probably sounds crazy but usually it works out pretty well. You'll need to convert to OBD1 though, but with that particular motor it's pretty much a necessity anyway, not to mention a good idea...

the thing is the web site doesn't sell 1.6 zc sohc they gave me it by mistake and wouldn't take it back i originally bought the dohc but it says zc and yes its vtec

If it's a single-cam VTEC engine that says ZC on the block, then it's a 1.6 liter.

And yeah, this is why everyone around here recommends buying engines from H-Motors rather than shady, obscure dealers like this Nagasaki Motors. H-Motors would take the engine back and make it right...Nagasaki Motors...not so much...

If you really did order and pay for a dual-cam engine, and they sent you a single-cam motor instead and won't take it back, I'd call them up and throw a fit personally. That's very bad business...

i did but they started hanging up on me. well do u know wat car it came from all i know is its from a 92-95

the JDM SOHC ZC VTEC is basically the same as the USDM D16Z6 - it came in the JDM Integra Type T1, for one - probably came in several different models - just use a P28 ECU

I'd call back and threaten a fucking law suit. They ripped you off, plain and simple.

EDIT: Also, I'd tell them you're going to shit talk their company to everyone you meet until they make it right.

i dont think i could sew them i think there in canada it says that at the bottom of the screen on the web site

You can, trust me.

:werd:

Why wouldn't you be able to? If suing Canadians and Canadian companies wasn't an option then all of them would be scamming us and ripping us off. Talk to some lawyers or do some reading so you know what your options are. Most lawyers give free phone consults or initial meetings...
