I caught the end of Freddy vs. Jason the other day and took note to the song that started playing during the credits. Does anyone know what it is? It sounds like KoRn, but I can't seem to find it. It's not on the soundtrack. Go figure...

my chemical romance was rumored to be at the end of the movie, but not on the soundtrack. in 2003 mcr was asked to write a song for freddy vs jason called 'sister to sleep.' if its a punkish, upbeat pretty quick paced song, that's it. i've only found the song offered in a semi decent live version. its the rarest take mcr did considering that the song wasnt finished in time for the soundtrack and that it was exclusive only for the movie. read the lyrics when you get a chance. it makes mention of the asylum, medication and not being able to dream the same. check it out.

The song is called "How Can I Live" and it's performed by Ill Nino...

No, there is no MCR song on the soundtrack or in the movie. Did you seriously join our forum just to throw that bit of MCR trivia in?

yeah i did because i'm bad ass like that lol. i was told there was an mcr track. i found this out a couple days ago after i found the track on a youtube gig. it had a couple notes on it. i have asked if there was a song in the late part of the credits by my chemical romance and i have been told yes there is. this has got me to the point to where i gotta get to blockbuster and get up on it.

if this was released like 4 or 5 years ago... why am i giving a damn now???

Hmmm...as far as I know that song wasn't finished in time for the movie's release, so it never made it onto the soundtrack or into the credits of the film, unless they changed it for the DVD release, but I don't see why they would...

just something i read and shared. if it wasnt for binging and selling out too early, maybe it would've been done in time. shit sounds good though, but if it were to make the soundtrack and be clean as far as quality went, it would have been one of the few that would have been a good mcr gig. but he noted "wasn't on the soundtrack..." and that's the only one i can think of. I checked the other link just under his and it was like number one or two.

the later stuff sounds too traditional and classic. infact 'queen' is a popular reference to the 'black parade's sound. i got into them when it was 3 cheers because i just liked the sound. the videos made them look emo... you know emo. when you have a dozen honda kids with domokun stickers listening to killswitch engage... but the look was dramatic and it was all to selling out. i'm into untraditional lyrics(where as mcr was gimmicked after horror movies and comic books) instead of your radio stuff where they're either singing, screaming or crying about how their girlfriend (or boyfriend) broke up with them.

been on this site for a bit, i guess.

why are we talking about movie soundtracks again??? wait... why are you here then if you gave a damn.

lol!!! well then. this has been a waste of our time, however a good debate. i honestly landed here googling that shit simply by searching for 'freddy vs jason ending credit music". but i've been on here since i inherited my ek3 and an EH off a friend of mine... that i'll be selling soon.

Well stick around if you've got any Honda-related questions...we'll probably have answers for you...

Yeah Im just in a bad mood, and looking for something to vent on a little lol, just not my kind of music, no hard feelings.
