swap difference

since im doing the f22b dohc(h23) swap will i feel a big difference between my engine now d15by and the h23. Basically im going from 102hp 92tq to 160hp to 148. What are ur guy experience in this swap. btw my ride is a civic 95 dx coupe

that's an interesting choice to swap. You'll feel the difference in more then just the power, your cars gona handle differently. but yes, your gona feel that extra power. What made you choose to go with the H23?

You will definitely feel a difference in power. The H23s got a lot more torque than a D15. You do realize that you're going to need to do some cutting of the car's floor in order to fit the H-series transmission in there, right?

Right. my brother works for honda so i the swap should be to me a learning experience. I got my engine for only 400 bucks with 25K miles on it. All the other civic here dont seem to have engine here in albuquerque so thats why i went with the f22b dohc(h23).

i personally wouldn't do it just beacuse the engine is way too big. i'm not saying that it won't fit but probably putting it in a different car would be better. what is it like a 2.2. - 2.3 ? i like that engine tho cuz it does have a lot of power but since you're putting it in a 95 i don't think there'd be too many issues cuz it's OBD2 the harness is what people have more problems with i think

Oh my God, you're such a fucking idiot!! The motor will fit his car, they make mount kits for it, and 95 is OBD1!!

Like I said in the other thread, if you don't know what you're talking about, then DON'T POST!!!!!

problem is my another car is a probe gt 91. i think the engine is obd2. its obd1. But when we are all done with swap all give results
