i am in quite the predicament. i recently totalled my 92 civic lx 4 door sedan and i know of a person with a 93 accord all stock not sure on the model exactly with a blown motor. would the motor from my civic, its the 1.5 liter i believe fit in the accord, its a shot in the dark but please some input would be greatly appreciated.

thats the engine from the civic if it helps.
 
your out of luck on that one.

i dont know that anyone has ever asked if they could put a d-series engine into an f-series chassis.
 
yea, I haven't heard that one. It would be an extreme downgrade and it's far from a bolt it. it will be cheaper to get a replacement F series than to try and custom swap in a shitty d15.
 
93 accord is old, not worth even swapping if you ask me. Just junk the civic and buy something else that runs.
 
an h22 accord is just as fast as a b16 civic :)

But i understand you are just trying to get this thing running.

we have a junk yard out here in dallas and accord engines are about $200 a piece...im sure its probably not far off where you live.

What's so wrong with using that chassis? The H22 is a bolt-in swap, and it's lighter than the newer Accords. Not a bad choice if you need a mid-sized sedan but still want tuning options...

As per the original question, no, you cannot use the Civic engine...
 
90 - 93 Accord Stock Engine

i have an engine that will get ur accord up n running til u get another engine 4 ur accord. $300 + S&H
