k..gotta a question


got the motor from hmotorsonline. with the jdm harness, etc.

ok what is the easiest way for me to do this to wire this car up

1. use my d15b7 auto harness and hack it up
2. use the jdm b18c harness and try to get everything to reach to the passseneger side of the car
3. get a usdm b18c1 harness

the easiest would be to get the b18c1 usdm harness right?
but would everything plug iin play
i heard 93 s was wired for vtec..would ihave to do any modify if i get this harness??

You want to use your original harness. You will need to add the wires for vtec and the knock sensor, no big deal. I believe the del sol is wired for vtec to the engine bay, but you will need to run a wire from there to the vtec solenoid and pressure switch. Then add a wire at the ecu to your knock sensor, all done. You wont use the plugs that were for the automatic tranny dont worry about those.

thats it?? dang...but ..wait...on the manual tranny, the vss, this is the same onthe auto tranny??...and the knock sensor, which one is that on the block...o and you did auto to manual too...i have done it once before and couldnt get my reverse lights to work, did you get yours working, kinda explain it to me a little better. THANKS!!!!

The connector for the VSS will plug directly into the VSS on the new transmission nothing to worry about. Knock sensor is screwed into the back of the block. Invest in some repair manuals and you will find what you need to know.

have the repair manuals. the black plug kinda pretty much in the middle. green connector on harness.. k i know what im doing but i just like to double checkon everything...i would hate messing it up. like i said i have done the auto to manual before , just couldnt get the reverese lights to work..i think i know what i did wrong though..anyways appreciate the help!!!!
 
does the gsr have a evap purge on it?? im looking where it is supposed to go cant find it
