WB: top mount intercooler

i was just wandering if anyone on here would happen to have a stock wrx top mount intercooler that they would want to sell?

i am going to start working on a project that i would like to try and see if i can make work by runing a top mount intercooler on a civic..so if anyone would happen to have a stock top mount intercooler please let me know...and if you have some pics can yall please send to my email

why do people still try to be original. if original was the best idea, more people would be doing it. good luck with the build though.

no actually i was either going to cut the hood or make a fiberglass one and leave a slot fot the intercooler..kinda like the wrx sti!

and i just want to do this project to see if it can be done and how long it would take me...lol

if all else fails i will just throw a side mount and make me a sleeper

well, the boxer engine is set up differently than hondas. i have seen it done on nissans also. it's better to just do a custom front mount if you want extra cooling. i have mine on my nissan with short charge pipes rather than going down to the bumper.

well the reason i might just run a side mount is cause i dont really want to put too much power to this motor since i am going to run it with stock rods and pistons...i am doing this on a 89 civic and i am doing a vtec head and maby a cam...i just want to make around like 200 with this thing just to see how far i can push it till i throw a rod or something...
