Ok, I am going on a 1,200 mile trip and don't want anything to go bad. I just checked the timing belt, I was going to replace it but it was just fine. the previous owner must have just done it.

I have about $40 left over and was wondering what I should do or replace before the trip. I will do an oil change, the plugs and wires are all new about 5,000 ago. cap and rotor are fairly new and in good shape. Clutch is fine, I just put some Sea Foam in the gas and oil to clean it out. What else am I forgetting?

Thanks.

I will be heading to the parts store in an hour and would like a quick reply is possible. Thanks again

yeah, definitely tire condition/air pressure, and everything else ahhvtec said. but i dunno why, i always forget to check the damn tires :p

yea ask aleaf about not checking tires lol

yeah, I checked the tires, coolant is new, brakes I need to check still. Battery is brand new.

The tires are at 4/32 after about 10,000 miles and the stupid place i got them from won't give me new one under warrenty. They will only prorate them and that pisses me off. They wore out to fast. (and that may or may not ave anything to with the driver...)

Any thing else?

Also, my Abs pump seems to be kicking on at about 2-3 mph when I am stopiong and it is really annoying and it affects the stopping. The light also comes on. but the code I got off of it doesn't say much. Any clue? I am thinking of replacing the speed sensor on the wheel that I replaced the axle on. It may have been damaged, Any one know what one of those run these days?

i even warned her on her blog.

take a spare tire and all the extras. a jump box, tow chain, extra headlight bulbs.

well, the axle in new, I think the speed sensor was hit or damaged and need to be replaced.
It turns out they are about $160 for one. so, I am not getting one this time.

The coed I was getting was I belive, 1 flash, pause 2 flashes, pause 2 flashes. Which is not a code in my book or on Alldata. so. It might be something else.

Also, I was going to replace my MAP sensor, but found out they cost like $300 and I don't have that now. Would it be ok to get one out of a yard? I mean, I would assume it would be fine. Unless it was hit it should be ok.

Thanks!
