hey i have an 88 dx but trannys f'd up and wondering if the eg's d15 tranny would bolt on right onto my motor and mounts.

yes it will but you will need to use the flywheel and clutch also from the eg , and the ef tranny is a cable tranny and the eg tranny is hydro so you will have to convert your car to a hydro clucth or buy a kit from hasport to get around it.

oh thats cool. so the tranny would mount perfectly on the mounts in the engine bay? and is there a way i can convert my car to a hydro clutch?

yes it will mount, but you will have to get all the pluming clutch master cylinder and all to do that. if i was u i would just look for a 88-91 si tranny, it will save you some money in the long run

one junkyard here where i am is selling a dx tranny for 150 and an si for 200. but this other junkyard is selling there trannys at a flat rate of 75 dollars but they only have an EG and integra LX. and i don't even have a budget right now

hey this might be off topic but does a b16a motor have the same mounts for my ef? cuz i'm jus trying to bring the car back alive before i do anything performance wise cuz i wanna see if the cars still worthy enough for an engine swap.

you can put any honda motor in your car but you will have to buy new motor mounts and linkage and that kind of stuff

so only a zc engine will replace my d15?

Any D-series engine will swap in with stock mounts and bolt to your transmission. Anything else (B-series, K-series, F/H-series) will require different mounts and a different transmission...
