THIS TURBO HAS ZERO MILES ON IT!!!!

Sure has a lot of dirt and dings on the compressor inlet. I think you mean, it has zero miles on the rebuild, cuz that is not "brand new"

no its not rebuilt it just has been siting around for a while out of its box in my garage....and it has no dirt on the inlet its kinda wierd but the actual casing is colored like that...and the dings are from me trying to polish the inside...because of the diff. color casing...but its deff....not rebuilt...
will let go for 450....let me know guys...

thanks

i used a dremel...but it didnt work so i stoped...and there is no chunks missing...its just scraped.....please let me know if your interested....i dont go on your post and flame on you shit......

find something to flame on my sales. thanks

be polite. some people just want to know exactly what they're buying.

i am being polite...i understand that you want to know what your buying but some people {i didn't say you} just like to flam.... but i apologize for saying that....bumpski....help me sell this thing..

Why would you "polish the inlet" on a brand new turbo with a dremel tool using the wrong bit? Doesn't make sense.

You're telling us that you had a brand new turbo, took a dremel with a grinding bit on it, and
proceeded to knock it around the inlet, said "oops" now you're selling it.

Seems sketchy as hell, I dunno it's a good price if it is what you say it is.

it is a great price...i got it and i didnt like how the inlet was diff colored...so i was going to polish it up so i taped off everything that needed to be taped and hit it with the dremel....it started off nice but when i hit the area that was kinda discolord it didnt do much but just scratch it...so i said fuck it and let it be...it didnt bother me because i was gona use it and in no way was it going to harm its performance...but now i canot afford to go turbo anymore and dont have use for it....that is all!!! i am not a shady person i am not selling a shit turbo i just dont need it anymore...i already sold all my other turbo stuff and this is the last piece....i understand that it was dumb of me to try to polish it up but i didnt think that me doing that would hinder my chances of selling a perfectly good turbo.....so if anyone is still interested please let me know
thank you
Erick

it shouldn't effect performance too much but you did damage the turbo to a point, think about it, you took a grinding tool to a brand new turbo which you paid what 5-600 bucks for. There's no common sense in that.

and unless you ground it with something over the impeller wheel, you probably got metalic debris into the compressor.

none the less, you should find a buyer

It's extremely easy to remove the compressor housing. I would take it off, sand out the gouges, and take some new pics :D

Won't affect performance, but it might help your sale.

yes, but use the correct grinding head (or whatever it's called, can't think of the proper name right now) this time. You can make a lot of your money back if you fix it up. Even if you ahve to bring it to a machine shop, they won't charge you much to fix that.

i know i wanted to take the housing off and clean up the scratches but i dont want to ruin it more by taking it apart....

Where are you located? I might have someone interested.

PM me if you still have it.
