hi everybody.....
if your sensitive to engines don't look at this....

i bought my EK4 (B16A2) only 2 months ago... :werd: . and last while i was at 7500rpm in 5th gear, i suddenly feel a power loss and 2 seconds later....boom ! ... :w00t:....... immediately i realize that my engine blow...

here is the dead beauty...

when i bought the car i found on the trunk a set of 9 scratched bearing .... this failure is surely due to bad bearing work, an over-machined crankshaft, or even for re-using "stressed" rod bolts .... :angry2: f*** mechanics.....

here you can see the trace of the piston when on the head....

you can see that the piston bent the valve seat a bit..... hope the head can be re-used...

ill get the head to the machine shop Saturday for inspection,

im really crossing fingers hope the head can be re-used

if my head is still ok ....... it will be okay, ill get another block and rebuild my engine reliably by myself...

pray with me guys ;) ....

Perfect example of why you do it right the first time.

Sorry you bought an engine that someone was lazy with.

Good luck with the rebuild.

yes...... everythings is stock.... well somethings are not stock but even worse... like the gaskets and some bolts..... the mechanics that built this engine was a PIG

that's too bad man. i hope u didnt spend too much.

well if you start a build thread on your new motor, i'll be there! :)

Classic spun bearing. Ive had my 9200 rpm moments with those results a couple times, just not in 5th gear. :) The block/crankshaft are both garbage now.

ouch that hurts..now you have an excuse to do lsvtec??or b20vtec?

lol.... exactly.... its a great exuse.. :p ....

but i think i'll have more chance to find a B20 than an LS coz this last one can be find only on the integra right ? i never saw an integra in my whole life in my country......

and thats perfectly fine :) ... a stock B20 on a SiR head will deliver its torque and power on lower RPMs..... wich means reliabilty :) .... i don't think i'll have the guts to run a stock B20 at more than 8k rpm.....

Stock b20 bottom end can be spun to 7200 rpm, regardless of what head you have on it. If you build the bottom end to withstand higher rev's, than do so. Oil/water pump upgrade, arp rod bolts and new rod/main bearings.

:ufucktard::tfg::ban:

I don't have enough appendages on my body to count the number of times you put an innocent person in danger. What if you had hit a patch of oil or water in one of thoes turns? You would have slid directly into oncoming traffic killing yourself and the people you hit.

I vote to ban this fucktard. I hope your next engine blows up on you too. I am usually usually pretty liberal when it comes to toying around on the street, but this goes way over the line.

yes, achir21 posted a video of himself driving recklessly on public roads with sufficient traffic around to put many others in danger.

ya pretty lame man. keep it at the track. or find yourself some boonies.

Just pull the broken rod and piston out, take the bottom of the rod off the crank, put the head back on, unplug the injector, and the only difference is that you'll have a little bit less power.

This is a joke.

hmmm seems like a good idea !... i'll try that.... but how about the hole in block ? can i weld it .......^_^

anyway..... i've found a good B20Z .... it'll be here the next days so i can take it to the machine shop for inspections.....i'll post pictures of it :)... :D

the price of the block w/ crank, pistons & oil pan is the equivalent of 1200$ :(........ f***

but i'm still wondering if i have to buy it ....

will it really give me more power and torque comparing to my previous stock block ? revving it to 8000rpm wouldn't reduce its reliability ? (of course i'm planning to shotpeen the rods and install ARP Bolts on them, new itr oil&water pump, and recheck bearing clearances) but still ....after all this block revs only at 6700 when it was stock on CRV... so from 6700 to 8100 is big 1400rpm difference on top rev....

can i chip my ECU "P2T" to run extra fuel for the 2liter ?, i read somewhere that it can't be chipped :s ...?
i heared about using adjustable FPR ? can it really increase accurately the fuel injected and run a perfect AFR ?

You need to know that theres no tuners in my country, so i HAVE to do everything alone.....

thx for clearing me these things.... ;), i really wanna build my 1st engine, just wanna make sure everything so that i'll do it the 1st time and do it right ;) "like they say"

so........... no one helps.........

what i'm worried the most is the P2T stock ECU....... can it run my setup

(remind everything is stock, Intake, Injectors, Header...etc..) , expect for the engine block wich has 400 more cc) so ? does it make the job ?

hahahahaha

Noone saw the vid he had put up earlier... it was one of the most reckless things i've ever seen with a car.
