My home forum, Full Throttle Forums - Powered by vBulletin, had our annual cookout today and I just thought i'd share some pics with HS....its a very open and easygoing forum with plenty of diversity, not trying to plug it or anything, just letting anyone curious know about it...i'm one of the founding members and consider it home.

Two nice lightings, red one is one of the admin's vehicles, pretty much stock, black is a more race-oriented truck...lots of nitrous, lol.

As you can see, this day was dominated more by the domestics, but I thought the pics and the nice diversity of cars was still worth posting...this board is a rarity where so many different fans of different cars co-exist so well together.

Anyways, hope you enjoyed looking at the pics! :)

And a pic of me and the gf, it was her birthday today so we took some time off to ourselves....ended up taking a paddleboat out into the lake and enjoying some quiet time...it was awesome.

im down with the
R32 and its all wheel drive v6, things are amazing and sound like an airplane is taking off when it goes by

Some sweet cars, that's a lot of horsepower in one place.

I'm sorry but that was a pretty weak meet. Viper, lighting and some mustangs, rest looked all stock =(

Dev-Inspire Studios- powered by SmugMug
This was the last meet we had over my way.

Parking lot filled up and people had to use the overflow lot next to it (not pictured) The real kicker is there was another meet going on at the same time 45 minutes away, people were going from one to the other.

Even the smaller meets that are last minute pull in some worth while cars, from NSXs Zo6s, boosted Zs built civics and so on..
we try to do a few big meets a few times a year, most of the time it has something to do with toys for tots or people in iraq, everyone brings toys, canned goods or good ole fashion porn mags, almost always there's a dyno involved and food =) Gotta teach you guys how to throw a proper meet.

it was a cookout not a car show
The pictures I posted were also from a meet and not a car show. HIN was a month or so before that.

Speaking of cook outs, there was a Z cook out today and this is a random picture from it I found funny.

Whats it matter if they have anything done to them or not? I don't know about you, but i'd love to have something like a stock Civic Si or MazdaSpeed 3 or any of those really, but thats just me...hell I couldn't even afford to get my car going to take it to the meet... That board's people is comprised mostly of college kids, younger and then a few older people who are well off and can afford to mod all they want... I don't think anybody had a bad time just because some of the cars don't have much done to them...

This is a relatively small town also, not a big city that it looks like those pics are in.

Country folk, sheesh. :slap:

Well I mean compared to some of you who live up north or in a decent sized city, yeah its probably more "country", but its really not...theres 3 good-sized cities all right together within about 20 mins of each other right around where I live... Lots of people, lots of cars...just everybody couldn't make it to one specific cookout.

I'm just screwing with you, I'd much rather see a bunch of stock cars sitting around at a bbq then a bunch of stock cars trying to race on the highways.

As far as the younger and college kid comment, come on dude, everyone knows you could easily build a badass car for less then a new SI or Mazda Speed. I did my Turbo civic at.... I think I was 18, I could have bought a newer car, but loved modding them so I put money into my 95 civic.

I really enjoy going to meets and seeing what everyone has done, to me seeing a bunch of stock cars at a meet is just about as fun as a trip to carmax, - not being able to drive them at a meet where at carmax you can drive them all =)

What matters is you had fun, who gives a damn what I think. :p

Who am teh primer crx ?

I think you are asking who owns it? One of my friend's girlfriends owns it, her name is Kelly.
