Welp, some of you may remember I got enganged February of 2007. Welp for the past few months I have been really unhappy with our relationship.

There was nothing to fix, it was just personality conflicts that i have dealt with and of course lack of sex. I thought i was happy, but i wasn't. So i told her last sunday i didn't want to marry her or be with her anymore. She's moving out of the condo this Saturday. I think I am ok. I haven't broken down or cried.

I dunno...jjust venting...its still hard

Best that you did it now and not after you got married and realized you were unhappy. 2 good friends of mine were in long relationships, got married, and both were divorced in under 3 years. You saved yourself both money and heartache in the long run. Hang in there.
 
Nope no kids, just our dog, which I bought so she stays with me. Mostly everything in the place is mine, furniture, electronics, appliances..i bought it all...I am giveing her the spare TV and spare surrond sound system, my computer desk and whatever she bought she can take.
 
sounds like you got out at the right time then... as was said... better now than after you were married and already shit out a kid or two

yeah it sucks realizing that the time invested didnt end up working out... but fuck it really... you're still alive... move on... life isnt going to spot you 5 minutes to finish getting your head together

Not in all ways. Both are for the birds, but when you're the dumper it's not like the sun comes out. It still fucks you up.

These people were engaged to be married. you're all thinking "Whew ! Dodged the bullet!" the honest thought process is "I was really working hard towards something that is no longer possible". You're walking in a different direction, but you're still walking through a mine field.
