My registration was going to expire in three days, and I needed to pass emissions.
I got a new muffler put on yesterday, since mine had a big hole in it. While it was up on the lift, everyone in the shop had to come check out my suspension. They were all like "wow real performance stuff, we never see that, that looks really good, who installed it?" They were quite surprised that I did it myself, so that left me feeling good.
Today I went to the emissions place and passed!!1 I wasn't sure if it was going to pass since my car smokes quite a bit. While the guy was performing the test, my car was spewing smoke (couldn't really tell the color from where I was standing). At first when I saw the smoke I was like aw crap there's no way it's going to pass. But when he was done he handed me the receipt, and said "That's a clean 92' Civic, I never seen them as clean as yours"
Then I got my registration, and now I'm set.
So overall, not a bad start to the weekend, other than the ticket.
