5 lugged.
Hey all,

I'm new to this forum by way of cb7tuner.com. Joined because I was trying to obtain information on supercharging an h22 and fitting it into the bay of a 5th gen Accord. I'm in the New Hampshire area and I've done some mods to my 5th gen, and now I have one more goal to complete an engine swap

So far the mods on my car are:

5 lug conversion utilizing NSX 2 piston calipers
EDM rear fog light
SiR (Geniune Honda part no clear corner crap) bumper lights
Depo Corner lights
Basic CAI

Right now I'm focusing on getting an h22a with the mb24 transmission but as much as I want the old f22b1 to die, it won't lol so I'll keep it running until it croaks. :D

Heres one shot of my car from a couple weeks ago.

Where'd you get that 5 lug conversion how much was it?
Thats nice tho. Clean.

If your referring to where I got the parts? Junkyard for the front knuckles and every other part that was for the conversion were all brand new parts.

How much was everything? Totaled out to be $582 with discounts on parts.

How easy was it? Pretty damn easy actually, the only part that took me the longest was the front end, having to painstakingly remove the original front knuckles was a pain in the ass. Everything else went smoothly.

All that shiznit's easy its just finding the parts

Correct.

The NSX calipers were the hardest to find. Odyssey knuckles were also hard to find believe it or not.

Welcome to HondaSwap! Your ride looks pretty clean!

One suggestion though... if you're serious about an H22 then I'd say go ahead and get it. If your F22 is in decent shape you could be waiting for a long, long time for it to die. Conversely, if it dies tomorrow, you're not going to get any money from selling it. I'd say it's best to do the swap now, and sell the old motor and transmission while they're still in good working order.

Just my two cents though, do what you think is best...

Heh. Well I just recently upgraded to an H22 two weeks ago and during July I also swapped out the interior from Tan to Grey.

Thanks guys. All the mods; 5 lug conversion , interior swap and motor swap were done exactly within three months of each other.

I'm in awe myself..still can't believe I did all this..but is it well worth it?

Ya damn right.

Awesome swap man! I love fifth-gen Accords. I've owned two of them, both the light blue color. Great cars. Watch out for the power antenna though, that fucker loves to break and freeze in the extended position...

Yeah this is my second Accord, the first one I ever come across was when I lived in Guam when I was 10. It was a black 90 EX with hydraulics...sick car and then of course I owned one after my parents gave it to me during my senior year of high school..and then my cousin owned a 94 coupe.

And well of course the rest is history. ^_^

I replaced the power antenna with an exact replacement from AutoZone...I took care of that problem first lol.
