Watanabe Whore!!!
Rest In Peace
Took $50 to fill the 200sx today...it will last for 4 days of commuting.... So now nearly $400 a month to get to work and home...:( soon it will be $500:mad:

Gas prices are killing the economy...not new news, but when the airlines layoff 60,000 people, truck manufactures are closing factories, and we dig down deeper into a recession that no friggen new president can get us out of.....I bet the damn towel heads are still paying 6 cents a gallon, and could care less on how many jobs the normal person needs to just survive.

Japan is about $9.00 a gallon, and the UK has got to be hitting $10 if not more...

And it's only going to get worse:(

Yep we are fucked and its only going to get worse. Less disposable income means less consumerism, leading to less jobs. We are fucked. If gas goes up too much more I might be out of a job.

What ever happened to Imperialism?

"Oh, is that your oil well?"
//points gun//
"Oh, it's mine? OK that's what I thought."

I don't need it at 5 cents a gallon, but $1 would be just peachy.

shit i never thought i'd say i wish it was $2/gal again :(

Did you know that Brazil recently found enough oil off the Atlantic coast to make them independant of OPEC?

Did you know it's Illegal to even look for oil in the Gulf of Mexico?

Electric and Hydrogen cars are our future, but highly efficient internal combustion can be utilized today with a domestic oil production that produces jobs which can't be outsourced.

But we'd need a Republican President for that one, Obama won't drill and hydrogen cars won't be widely available in the next 10 years. Those aren't opinions.

We're currently pumping the gulf of mexico.

I put $85.00 in my jeep this morning.

$85.00. A decent pair of shoes. A few bucks short of a fossil watch. A week's worth of groceries. A million gagillion useless but fun gadgets. A weekend camping. A few very useful gadgets.

Back in the day, I could toss $11 in my 3 cylinder geo metro (purchased for $3,000), drive 360 miles to see my girlfriend (now wife) and return the 360 miles. Yes, the metro was modified for fuel efficiency. 720 miles on 11 gallons? You bet your ass.

Now we have $30,000 hybrids that boast a whopping 32mpg highway at $4.00+/gallon. You can get better with a bone stock 1988 crx hf for christs sake.

Technology is moving toward more complicated and complex machinery capable of less fuel mileage. What is the fucking point?

Lets spend more money on a car capable of less fuel economy and then spend more on the fuel itself. Wait.

Cars cost more. Get less mileage. Gas costs more. A few very smart people are fucking banking it right now.

YES HF!! 50 MPG, EAT IT LITTLE GIRLS!
U MIGHT LEAVE ME BEHIND A MILE ON THE DRAG STRIP BUT WHEN RECESSION IS AT ITS WORST, MY CAR WILL STAND HIGHER THAN A HYBRID MY FRIEND.

ADVICE= INVEST IN AN HF:secret:

$50 a week is my bike habit. Lots of moving around though. Still go for joy rides.

My gas is about $4.85-$4.99 in my area. (High test, of course)

I'm now using Mobil exclusively. they have 3 individual filters and lines, one for each grade. If you use the same hose and fill up your bike (5.5 gallons in my case) then you're getting anywhere between .7 and 1.3 gallons of the previous pumped gas (Which now adays, is guaranteed to be the cheap stuff). That's 20% of my tank filled with gas I overpaid for.

"I bet the damn towel heads are still paying 6 cents a gallon,"

I'm starting to think I'm the least racist of you guys :)

On my way to work this morning gas was 3.89 for regular, 4.17 for premium. It's only a matter of time, though, until those prices are as high as everyone else's.

30 bucks of plus gets me to and from work for a week. Both my home and job are next to the interstate, about fifteen minutes apart. You have no idea how much that helps right now.

New York times tries to make Bush look like he can control the market. Move along, nothing to see here.

Filled up this morning for $39 at $3.89. Premium was $4.09.

I remember when filling the Teg rarely went over $20. What sucks even more is that I only get between 27-32 mpg. I got 35mpg the other day and was so excited I could have probably honked the horn with no hands.

Topped off the civic today using $3.95 regular.

10.8 gallons for $42.something...

I don't even like to remember the past anymore just because it gets me so pissed off. There's no point.
