Its really hard to say without more info, first off whats your budget like? what year and model is your car?

K-series are out of alot ppl's budget, including mine;)

I really dont have a budget but I dont wanna spead over about 4 grand and its a 92-95eg coupe... any suggests would be a great help and websites would as be great

Are you doing the work yourself or taking it to a shop? What motor does your coupe have in it right now?

It had a mini-me in it d15b block and a d16z6 head but i fucked the block up so i just want to get a new better motor and im going to do the swap myself maybe with the help from a bud i know... i couldnt really decide to go with the h or b series but im hearing the b series is way better...

B-series would be easier for sure, for a daily driver id say go with a 1.8L either B18B or B18C depending on what you wanna spend.

...but it wouldn't be nearly as fast an H22 or H2B swap:)

That's not really a fair comparison. There's advantages and weaknesses to both. The H22 has more power and torque then any B-series swap, but the installation is harder and it requires fabrication...

$4k will get you a CLEAN ass b18c swap. its reliable as a dd, and its pretty easy to put in an eg. like brutal said, the h series swap is not for a novice

Check out the FAQ/Reference section up at the top of the forums. We have articles on both I believe.

In short though, the B-series is a bolt-in swap as long as you get the proper mounts and shift linkage. The H22 requires after-market mounts, plus some cutting of the transmission tunnel in order to get the shifter up through the floor. An alternative is to buy an adaptor plate and use a B-series transmission, but that adds to the cost of the swap. The H22 will also take up more room in the engine bay and add a little more weight to the front end then a B-series swap will.

If you're looking for ease of installation, B-series is the way to go...

Its not more that im looking for a easy install but more that im lookin for something powerful and that can take a good beating cause i drive harder than norm drivers on the daily... would a h22 spank the hell outta a b18 gsr in my car? and is a h22 as reliable and can take a good beating?

hondas engines are all pretty reliable, but any engine will suffer damaged over time if you constantly beat the hell out of it.

I believe ahhvtec has an H22 swap and I think I remember him saying he could take a GSR hatch buy 4 carlengths or something. some guys don't like the gearing of the H22 tranny nor cutting the car so there is also the H2B option as well (H22 w/ a b-series tranny), but the kits cost about $1300.

Stock for stock, an H22 will take any B-series when placed in the same chassis. If you have plans to build though, you might want to consider the B-series since it's an easier swap and there are shit tons of parts available for it...
