Watanabe Whore!!!
Rest In Peace
And I really liked the old guy.:(
He was funny, friendly, senile, deaf (I could make as much noise as I wanted) and just an all around great old guy. I'm going to miss him.:( I'm at least glad he got to see the house next door get pretty again before he passed. He was happy.

so now the house next door will be going up for sale. And I've built a decent friendship with them, that they are giving me the first dibs on the house...as is. They just want to offload it, and move on. I can prolly snag it really cheap, and it's not really in that bad of condition...it just needs to be updated a little.

I'm thinking that I might pull out another loan and buy it, rent it for a while, build it up and turn it in a year or two...that way I'll be able to judge who my new neighbor will be.

Or...

I'll pass this deal on to someone who's cool, looking for a fixer-upper, or a first house... but the rush will be on to pass it on before it hits the market.

So...who wants to be my neighbor?;)

It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

It's a neighborly day in this beauty wood,
A neighborly day for a beauty.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

I've always wanted to have a neighbor just like you.
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So, let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?
Won't you please,
Won't you please?
Please won't you be my neighbor?

That sucks man. Sorry to hear.

buy it.

Sucks, they just anounced the cancelation of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood from pbs a few days ago too. And sorry to hear a good neighbor passed.

I say buy it. Then work to fix it up in the mean time, and if someone cool needs a house along the way, you can pass your deal along + what ever money you invested.

How many bedrooms? Garage? Maybe we could work something out!!! I've been looking for a way out of Indiana for awhile now!!

Kenny

4 bed(I think), 2 bath, finished basement, 3 stories (basement,2 floors) decent back yard, no garage, but has a one car parking space. You could build a garage in the back yard.

The wife is all gun hoe for buying it, she's been wanting something to invest in.

the mister rogers thing at the end..... iono dude. a little creepy

from what I heard, he was admitted into a convalescence home last week, and had a heart attack, then recovered... then fell down at the nursing home, and they took him to the hospital, and the hospital refused to see him for some reason, and they brought him back to the nursing home, and then the ambulance came...and he didn't make it.

Everyone that has met him loved him. He was a strange old fart, and he will be missed.

RIP, sorry to hear that man.

I say jump on that opportunity. You should be able to rent it out for a while until you can figure out what needs to be done to it. Then fix it up enough to sell it for profit. Hell, maybe you can lower your debt a little bit so you can update your sig :D

you should rig it with cameras and rent it to a group of sorority girls .. :wall:
