So I'm trying to put this (see pic) valve cover on my GF's EG Hatch. It's swapped with a b18b. She picked the cover up cheap and likes the look of it. I'm a minitrucker myself and I'm having to kinda crash course my way through Hondas.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with the PCV and the breather line from the intake... (As seen in the pic from behind the stock cover)

Should I drill the Moroso cover for the PCV? Should I run a line to the intake? It seems to me that oil would get sucked up by both since neither of these would be protected from oil that splashes around. The stock cover has a sort of "false ceiling" that seems to allow the pressure to escape, but keep the oil in.

Moroso's instructions aren't very clear either. (PDF)

Any help is greatly appreciated

Go to AutoZone and get one of those little breather filters and put that on it and plug the hole in the intake.

Look at the first pic, it has a brass nipple on the back and he's got a rubber hose on it, but what he was sayin is that the stock VC has the baffles on the top of it so minimal amounts of oil get out, the moroso is just hollow.

if its sucking oil then there is something wrong with the design of that vc, some honda vc are just a straight hole, i hate the little breathers on them myself, id just get a ebay catch can

Eh, some people like 'em. I don't mind it personally... :shrug2:

Some people were raving about someone elses valve cover that looked the same not too long ago in a different thread. Ya, to each his own. It's ok.

Yeah I remember that. I realize now that it was probably a Moroso valve cover...
