who put the "S" in lisp?
Can someone please tell me how to get these damn back seats out? I need to put in my wally pump and I'm stumped. I figured they just popped in with some sort of tension bar or something, but I'm totally clueless. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

There is like a 10 or 12mm somewhere along the back of the seat (where the seat belts come out of) make sure you get them all and pull on it and itll come out.

do you have to remove the fold-down seats to get to them? if so, how do those come out? i'm really suprised....my M3 was way easier than this EG!!

i dont see how that is.. its 1 bolt holding them in..

1st.. fold down the rear seats and lift the trunk carpet.. you'll see a 12mm bolt towards the middle somewhere, take that out..
2nd.. to remove the top section, grab the top of one of the cushions and pull it to the side and it should release from the inner post.. same goes with the other side..
3rd.. now back to the bottom cushion.. now that the tops are out of its way.. lift from the rear towards the front.. there are 2 clips on each side of the cushion.. you'll have to maneuver it a bit, but they'll come out pretty easy.. hope this helps..

You dont have to take the seat back off, atleast not on the four door, once you get the bottom cushion off its right there.

H said he wanted to put a fuel pump so I was just guessing it would be the bottom cushion.

yeah, i need to replace the fuel pump with my wally...i think the stock one is going out anways. thanks for the step-by-step though. i'm just gonna take the whole thing out. i try it this afternoon after i bleed the brakes and adjust the coilovers.
