Ok first of all i have an ls/vtec.I have all the stuff neccesery to put on a turbo. What i want to know is which turbo would be good, I plan on pushing 300- 350 whp. Also want to be at full boost by 3500 to 4000.So i was looking at garrett t3/t04e and was wondering if that would be a good turbo also what trim would be the best choice. any advice please/

So at what rpm would the garrett t3/60-1 be full boost by.Also what a/r housing would be good cause i have a 5 bolt down pipe.

i helped my roommate put a 50trim t3 on his integra, full boost before 4 grand, and he got his for like 300.

Sorry I just have to do this..:D

This one.

T25 would be a good choice for a quick spool, but correct me if Im wrong, will surge out before making those numbers right?

efhondakid: Coirrect. That turbo is wayyyyy too small for a 1.8l engine.

You want a t3 or a t4.

Get a chinese t3, run an oil flow restrictor, and you'll have a decent power curve for a couple years. (contray to popular belief, the chinese eBay turbos aren't half bad. Given, they're not as good as a garrett or a KKK, but they work pretty well. Just remember the oil restrictor.)

Read the https://hondaswap.com/turbo-information/building-homemade-turbo-kit-81384/ thread. Then read Homemadeturbo.com Then read some more. Don't buy anything until you've got everything you need laid out on paper.

My vote is a 50trim with .63A/R. There was a local kid running one in his GS-R, he made 385whp with a block guard and really not much else to the internals. The car spooled pretty quickly and pulled to redline!

*raises hand* Have you upgraded your fuel system and are you running with stock internals?

Yes I have forged pistons and the arp rod bolts and upgraded fuel system. I also have port & polished head and intake manifold.

What about an O or P trim wheel in a T04B or T04E housing with a .50 or .60 hot side? Just tryin to give you some options.
