secondary o2 sensor trouble

alright. i swapped a full d16y8 motor into my ej6 chassis ( dx hatchback) and i also used the y8 wiring harness. now my trouble is this:

on my y7 both primary and secondary o2 sensor junction connectors ( quick disconnect things ) were on the wiring harness under the hood.

on cars that have the y8, the primary is under the hood, and the secondary is ran through the car harness because the cat is under, after the 4-2-1 header.

whats this means is i only have the primary o2 sensor, and im throwing a code because of it.

and now because i used the y8 harness, i have no secondary o2 sensor junction connector.

do i have to wire a new one in? i have my old harness, so i could wire new o2 sensor wires in, and incooreperate the junction connector off of the old harness and do it that way.

i hope you guys can help, and i hope you fully understand whats going on here.

so i take it that you are running obd2 set up but i am a little lost on what you want to do if anything just extend the wire and have the o2 sensors run right into the cat so you can get rid of the codes
 
cut the plug off with about an inch or two of wire for the 2nd o2 in your bay.
run wires to extend to the cat area.
re-attach the plug/solder.
plug in to the o2.

done

On EX models, there is no plug for the secondary o2 sensor on the harness, so there is nothing to cut. My thoughts are either hard wire directly into the ECU, or instead of adding an extra o2 sensor, jump the primary and secondary 02 wires to fool the ECU into thinking you have two.
