ok so finally got my rear mount bracket, went to put it on and shit doesnt line up..
its like either my my motor is placed too far on the drivers side,or the holes werent drilled right for the rear mount...
1st pic is of drivers side mount
2nd pic is passengers mount,(tranny mount)
3rd pic is looking down on at the rear mount/bracket...you can see the bracket sits on top of the mount instead of around the mount

anyone have a solution??everything lines up perfectly, axels, hubs, mounts, theres the same sized gap between the tranny and frame rail as the motor and framerail...

it's the wrong bracket. that bracket is from the 94-01 teg, you need the one from a pre-94. the one you need has got a slight offset in it.

^ Thats what I was thinking, but I have the same swap mounts and my drivers side mount gusset is straight, not curved like yours is, so that may be a problem too.

it's hard to see with my intake manifold in the way, but the bracket you need looks like this on the left side. notice that it's not straight like your bracket.

yeah, the correct brackets all do :p
for an ef anyway. you NEED the 90-93 bracket to work on any bolt in kit, the 94-01 bracket is only used on eg and newer models.

i got the 90-93 bracket yesterday,,that was the bracket in the pic...i was trying to use a 94+ bracket before this and its too long...but either way i got it fixed...
and 90ef...the reason my gussets are straight is because for the older cars honda had two "post" types on the motor..the old school way"posts are straight and aligned with the motor" and the new way..which would be what i have

are these the Hasport mounts? I bought the hasport billit mounts, stock for my zc, and unwraped them all and mixed up the hardware.... anychance you could post some pics of the mounts installed so I know where to use what hardware?? thanks in advance

hey injen, that picture up in your initial post was a 94-01 bracket, not the correct 90-93 one. i just dont want anyone to see it and think they have the right one. the correct one has the obvious bulge on the left when looking down on it from the top.

here you go zc, the pictures are tough to get with all the crap in the way, but i'll do my best to describe them to you.

this is the driver side mount, it uses ONE of the bolts provided, and two of the nylock nuts and washers provided along with the factory stud left in place on the hole closer to the firewall.

this is the passenger side mount. it only uses three of the bolts and washers provided. no nuts.

then the rear mount uses two of the bolts and washers provided into the two holes that line up closer to the driver side of the car. not the two closer to the passenger side that the oem mount was in. (pardon the colored circles, they were for someone elses question.) the t-bracket uses all factory hardware.

ok well an update..i guess there are 2 differant sizes of rear mount from the 94+ teg..the long one.will not work, the short one will work but you have to slide the mount to work..i just welded mine to the rear frame rail.
the correct bracket is the one with the left side buldge..ill have pix up of the size comparison soon
