My mom thinks i'm cool
I didn't know were to post this. I was talking to a kid yesterday that has a turboed stock h22 in a accord. He was talking about dynoing 400 at the wheel's. I always thought that stock h22 weren't all that great for turbo and this kid was talking about making 400 with a stock h22 and what looked like a ebay brand turbo kit for it. After i told him i dont think he would dyno 400 he looked at me and shrubbed his shoulders. So i was just wondering if a stock h22 with a turbo kit could make 400 Correct me if i em wrong. I'll thank you for your in sight

Well it might make 400 horses, depending on the turbo size and the amount of boost he's pushing. If it's a completely stock engine though, it's probably going to go boom before too long.

Ask him to see a dyno slip, see what he says...

:withstupid:A stock motor isnt going to like making those numbers for very long, unless the motor was hand-built and tuned by the Honda Gods themselves I dont see it lasting to long either.

i seriously doubt he's pushing anything close to those numbers. and like these guys say. boom should happen sooner or later.

ask him for the dyno slip..if he says he doesnt have them tell him youd like to know where it was dynoed...and ask him to take you for a ride..
maybe even ask him how much psi on what turbo, whats it tuned with, ask him some random questions,,lol the number one thing though..ask if its high compression or low..cuz then thatll answer the stock question

He didn't dyno it yet. He told me when he does he thinks it should be pushing 400hp. Thats when i told him i dont think so. But thanks for your insight guys i thought that stock h22 aren't that great for that much horses. I just didn't want to be that guy talking out of his ass.

This guy sounds like a serious idiot. If he hasn't dyno'd it yet, he probably hasn't tuned it yet either...

Thats exactly what I was going to say. This guy is full of :bs:telling you his stock motor is making that much without being tuned. I give it less than a month before it scatters.

Yea, It's not even tuned he. I guess he has a air/fuel gauge and he said it was running rich. He rev'ed it a lil and a nice black cloud came out. I think this is his second h22, so i guess he should start building the other one up so when this one goes soon he can put the better one in.

Yeah, he's a tard. Why would you just run an H22 on boost, un-tuned? Even if he does have another one to build, that's just a waste, and regardless of built vs. stock, a turbo motor still needs to be tuned.

Feel free to tell him we think he's an idiot, lol...
