Notta problem.

You get an OBD1 B18? Realize your chassis is OBD2a? Got it figured out?

Good luck with the swap! Can't wait to see the pics. I got my swap from hmotors 2 years ago and its still running strong!

Ya got all the info I think I need. It's obd2a JDM swap so should go pretty easy. Got the 2 mounts, thottle cable, ac mount and buncha how to's off net with wire pin outs so hope it goes good. Prob. gonna do it over 4th July weekend just happens to be my 14th year anniveresry but wife understands.

as far as the pinouts for the knock sensor and iab sensor can you send me some info on how to wire them into the harness for a clean swap.

I went to a junkyard and picked up a spare ecu connector. I pulled the pins out of that and installed them at the proper points on the connector in my car. Then run the wires from the sensors to this. If you want it to look perfect, run the wires through the proper shock tower mount connector as well.

got it

Finally got the B18c in. It looks in really good shape. I got a busy 4th July weekend now! :D

99-00 Civic SI driver upper mount(the one that bolts under the timing cover) and the rear T-bracket mount for the SI. If you have a/c the bracket from the CRV is the one I used and the tensioner off the original integra a/c mount.

I got it all done in less than two days!! First crank no codes and idles perfect! I just need to find out what throttle cable best fits and what fuel line will fit best too.

Looks like you did your homework! Looks like a great facility your in as well. Do you know what kind of MPG the B18C will get in the hatch? Congrats on a job well done!

I checked today and this is the first tank so i was not tryn to save gas and i got
30 MPG.

wow...that's awesome. Maybe I should've gone with the B18C instead of the B18B. $1500 price difference though. Glad it's working out so well for you!

Ya i figure I spent about $4000 after all said and done. Motor 3200 shipped new mounts, hoses, timing belt, water pump, tensioner, bought carbon fiber intake from password jdm, oil change, honda manual tran fluid, and few other things I'm sure prob took it to $4000 ish

That's a chunk-o-change. I did a B18b1 OBDII into my EK for $3000, $1650 shipped for the motor/tranny and the rest included new springs/struts and anti-sway bar kit. The engine is totally stock including air box from a 00 Civic Si. It's great to pull away from the unbelievers on the Mass Pike. I drive 120 miles a day and it's much more fun now!

Congrats on the swap. I acutally just ordered the same motor for my 99 ek. I'm going to end up doing a full tune up on the motor/trans before i put it in, so i may not have it in till august but i'm siked. I might go as far as a new clutch and syncros, just because the motor/trans is not in the car.

:confused:Question... i'm getting the full uncut harness with the motor(jdm b18c gsr) would you recommend just using that harness, or reuse the stock ek harness and extend the wires i need and run vtec?
The integra harness is a 2 piece, where my civic harness is 1 long harness from the ecu to the engine.

The only thing i'm not to sure with is the wiring, i still need to do that research.
Thanks
