so, about a month after my box's wheels were jacked, my wife went to go to work and discovered that her car had been stolen. sigh... they found it the next day.. they got away with her wheels, cd deck, front speakers, intake, battery, sub and amp.

there isnt a trunk release inside the car, and the key to the trunk was different then to the doors... looks like they took a jaws of life to it to get $200 worth of sub and amp.

insurance totaled it, and actually gave us a fairly good amount for it. they gave us 2800, which is only 200 less then we bought the car for 3ish years ago.

poor car.. when my EG got stolen they stole my GFs blades off her integra the same damn night..

Might be time to put an alarm on both of the cars. Also if wheels getting stolen are a bad problem put a tilt sensor on the car. Sometimes alarms will not go off if all they are doing is jacking it up and taking the wheels. Put a tilt sensor on the alarm so it will set off the alarm if the car is moved to a certain degree angle. And buy a good one not just one of the cheap mercury switches. The good ones will automatically take in effect at what angle the car is parked at currently when its armed.

Find the bastards and kill them!!!!

my box did not have an alarm, but my wifes did, and it was armed.. no one came foreward and said anything and with my box, the cops took the report over the phone.

Both were stolen from my previous apt complex, on the "good side of town" .i have a garage now, so that should help, but i do need to still get an alarm for my box.

dude that sucks. sad to say right now. but stolen cars that are later considered totaled. are the greatest for scrap yards. i could us the back disc brakes off that sol. convert mine from drum to disc. stupid non Si..

damn dude, when we met up at the dragstrip did I drive the CRX? well it was stolen a month after I bought it.

shit........my DA got stolen 4 weeks ago, but lucky me got it back the second night CHP call me at 1:45 am saying we found your car, nothing is wrong with it, burned or vandalized and we made an Arrest. I got hella happy DUDE =). They caught the guy on the free way 101 going towards gilroy. im gessing they were taking it over there to get it striped or some thing. But yea...........they got the bastard.....

Somebody needs to do that to my GFs Sol, her's is beat! Your girls was nice though, I dont know what I would do if that happened to me.

best thing to do to keep you car from being stollen is put a kill switch in its simple all you need to do is wire a regular togle switch in to the power going into your fuel pump and hit the switch when you get out .atleast then they dont get the whole car and usualy the car is still drivable. tilt sensors work well to keep people from stealing your rims ,but the wheal locks you buy from your local auto parts store are just about useless they sell the same ones with the same locks all around the country and once a theif has the few types of keys they dont mater and almost every one keeps them in their glove box any way . alot of places around the country offer lojack now it is the best chance of getting your car back whole.

sorry about the ride , good that they paid you for it , but you should taken a slightly lower check for buy bar rights and parted it out , usally the will only lower the amount buy 200 or 300 bucks

Motion sensitive lights.

Put the sensor outside facing the driveway, and the light bulb in your bedroom.

problem with motion sensitive lights is cats and if you live in an appartment just people walking on the side walk in front of your car will drive you nuts

i think you had just gotten it.. i remember the teg was under the knife, something with the suspension.. thieves suck

i bought a house, and my car has a garage now, so hopefully that helps :) buying back the car for parting out wouldn't have been worth it.. they stole just about everything worth while.
