what's your opinion's on pacesetter's exhuast stuff. buddy had it on a probe and it sounded alright but just wondering what you guys think

they can sound ok but there made like shit the metal is super thing and it just all around poor made

gotcha. i want something no one else has. like anyone can put megan drift spec or whatever on their car. so im about to find a good mid pipe and put like a spoon axle back on my car or something.

i almost got a spoon one time but never did spoon would be good

pacesetters are cheap , and the quality shows how cheap , the spoon axle back is nice but no where near original , kinda like you megan quote and one can put one on . but honeslty go for a sound you are happy with and screw what others think

If you want something original then go custom. Pick a muffler you like and then have an exhaust shop run whatever size piping you want, add a resonator, etc....

yeah. but how expensive is that shit though?

but will it be like the stock exhuast stuff? or can i get like stainless steel shit

Yes, you can request stainless steel. Ideally you want stainless steel piping that's been mandrel bent (smooth bends, no wrinkles). This is what I have on my car, a custom 2 1/4" stainless exhaust, mandrel bent, with a Magnaflow stainless resonator and muffler...

thats what I have too, and it sounds beautiful on a civic EX, not raspy and you can conversate normally at highway speeds.
I think they must sell bare pipe kits, because it has flanges and everything just like a pre-made catback.
right now I'm hoping to be able to cut enough out of it to fit my del sol, but I don't think I'll be able to keep the resonator.

They do sell pre-made kits with just the piping. I got my stuff from KTeller and you can opt to order just the pre-bent pipe, with no muffler or resonator if you choose...
