Sorry, I'm not cool enough to make this the Official Engine Bay Thread, so this title will have to do.

I'll start. I tucked all three of these cars.

My DB1 Integra... Crap.

You should:
  • lose the colored loom
  • lose the painted brackets
  • lose the hose cover things

I am when I put the new engine in I am going with an all stock look. The guy I bought the car from had the interior painted blue (really shitty) and obviously wanted to match the engine bay to the interior.

when i do my motor swap i may paint the engine bay a gloss black but leave the car silver...i think it will set it off.

I like the two tone valve cover.
I wanted to do something a little different, then my friend talked me into painting the motor mounts to match.

Its actually satin, but the lights in the garage make it look glossy.

To the OP, nice job on your cars. The other peoples pictures weren't showing up for some reason.

To Jeffie, I'm diggin' your old car. What was your set up like? I think that's a B18B or is that something else? And please, tell the studio audience about your turbo set up. :D If not the studio audience, then feel free to PM me with details as I am curious.

Should be lots of info on the car if you search for it.

When I had it it was a B16 with head work, sleeved block and a T3/T4 turbo 3" down pipe, open dump tube, full 3" exhaust with all cut/weld/cut/welds for any of the bends, I never tracked it, just drove it around to work and back, Sold the car to another guy who then sold the car back to the guy I had build the car, since then it made 570WHP with the B16, 2 years later of tracking it none stop the builder/current owner at the time got tired of it and pulled the motor and upgraded a few other things, main thing being a B18, 870WHP or so later..... you can search for the dyno vid of it... anywho yeah, it was fun, last I heard the guy who built it sold it to someone in FL as a rolling chassis, then he sold it to someone else and now its sitting somewhere as a rolling chassis.
