recently i installed some new megan LCA'S on my 90 ef hatch....buut the damn things squeak like a sonofabitch!! ive greased them , tried wd 40, everything.. nothing seems to work.. any suggestions?

WD40 is not a lube!!!

Try lithium grease. If that does not work, try a lot of lithium grease. Also, this should be in the EF forum.

is the spray any good?or just get a tube of it ans smear a butt load on the bushings.. and yea thanks i just noticed i posted in the wrong forum..its 2am..oops

I've used the spray and it works well, but I'd recommend the grease in a tub/tube because it's thicker

Check to make sure that the bushings aren't broken in some way. Lots of people have had problems with the bushings in the Megan LCAs, and quite a few people also replaced the bushings with new polyurethane ones.

Sounds like you already have some kind of poly bushing, which are known to squeek alot when not lubed correctly. Regular grease won't work.

I have energy suspension bushings on my car. They say to either use their grease, or a "marine grease" as a substitute. After about 6 months of use they became really noisy, so I used some gereric marine grease I got at autozone to fix the problem. Has worked like a charm so far.
