Ok I Just got back from a LOOONNNGGG 2000 mile round trip to buy this Integra.. Its an RS Body, Y80 Hydro Trani w/ LSD, ACT Clutch, GSR Stock Engine with the 2stage intake modified.. Type R Mounts, Clutch Master Cylinder, And some other goodies.. Whole A/C System and Power System / Cruise system gutted totally out for room and weight cause he has a B20 Turbo in there.. Full on Race suspension / coilovers 2 inch drop, 18"'s, Mugen rear bumper, C-West front and sides.. Full catback exaust.. Short shift, Black on black GSR Leather interior..

I Paid $4000 for it.. 170,000 miles on the car but its been Ground up rebuilt with performance Shyt, and the motor has 90k miles on it since he blew up the b20 turbo that was in there.. The maint light kicked on on the way home, and the Check light, SRS light.. stay on.. He said he didnt hook up the knock sensor.. So I'm thinking it could use a flash on the ECU.. What ya'll think?? I hit 140mph a few times on the way down from Indiana to Mississippi, and dusted a 300c hemi, a civic that looked like he had alot of work done, a few accords.. a few cars.. on the way back.. it definatly has the power..

I Need some input on what ya'll think and would do if you were me.. where to go from here?? heres a few pics

damn I just noticed the thread title I typo'd the GSR. Crap. How can I change that. Tried to edit title n changed it there. Oh well.

Yeah. It was a long drive. But it was fun. N I got to work out any kinks. Only few things is the check lights. Cause he didnt hook up the knock sensor. And he did something with the 2 stage intake. So it idles up n down when its cold. The brakes need to be redone. But other than that. Its a lightened RS. LSD. Everythings tight on it. I couldnt resist. I wanted the obd-1 system. That's only in 94 n 95 with that body.. So I'm happy as can be. Fav body. Gsr. I couldnt ask for more. Yet. LOL
 
Tilt while driving? Extremely smart choice.

As to the car, idk about driving that far for it. Get a paperclip and check the codes. Go from there.
 
LOL. Yea. I had the hardest time finding and store with beer. All I wanted was A drink that served a double purpose. The low resonate exaust kept making me drowsey. And the potholes were making me hella nervouse. So tilt it was. Take the edge off n a quick pick me up. Fyi, didnt help. Still took several naps LOL.

And the codes. The idle air, knock( not hooked up ) fuel delivery system. And #1 o2. The guy I got it from took out the 2 stage intake parts. And left some turbo setup fuel/vac parts in there. The #1 o2. I'm assuming the gsr is supposed to have one on the cat and one on the manifold. Neigther of wich are there. So its gonna take alil moding, run that wire for the knock sensor, a new iac valve. And redo the vac lines to get that check light off. It runs great though.
 
this "2 stage intake manifold" you keep talking about is just the stock manifold on a GSR.. sounds like you bought somebody's problem

and i cant assume its running to great throwing all those codes..
 
nah the motor has 90k on it. The guy had a b20 turbo setup in there. N blew it up. Its got tons of work done to it n actually I've beat every single car I raced so far. As of to my other teg I didnt beat a single one LOL. And yea its the stock manifold on both the intake and exaust side. But the only thing the motor does is idle bad when its cold (rich and the up n down idle) only for the 1st few minutes its cranked after sitting over night though. It actually runs like a scolded dog. Its so light with all the stuff he did. I'm hella happy with it. As it sits, just need to fix a few minor things and itll be good for a good couple years while I get all the parts ordered for a big boost build. Looking in excess of 12 grand for the build I'm doing. So this is a beautiful car to dog on in the mean time. I have no complaints. Runs smooth, lots of power. Tight steering. No play in the ACT clutch. Type R clutch hydraulics. LSD. Trani has no problems. Just little BS to piddle with I can list on 1 hand. Youd actually have to drive it to know. I'm very very happy with it!
 
nah. Yall can agree all ya want. Unless u inspect it like I have I can tell u. Its well worth it. I bought it before the bidding went up on ebay. He set the reserve for 4. All he needed it for was a new turbo setup for his new s2000. The dude had no need for It anymore. He had a brand new bike. Nice 2 story house. New camary also. I wouldnt have took the drive. It has no road noise. I cant complain atall bout it. Its definatly not a problem. And as easy as Honda motors are to completly rebuild to me anymore. Hell I stripped down 2 92 tegs to nothing but a body with a vin # on the firewalls and door jams. N made one good car outa both in about a months time. This car really is perfect for me. Only flaw inside is a wear tear in the drivers side leather seat. Wich I already planned to get racing seats. I went over all the wiring under the dash n fixed anything I felt coulda been routed better. Under the hood just a few minor things. Front brake calipers. Hmm. 2 exaust manifold studs. O2. 1 knock sensor wire... Iac valve. Top timing covers missing. Other than that. That's it. Just bolton a aftermarket mani's is all I can think of to spice it up any more than it already is for being NA. That'll hold me over. Its got 18"s. But I may downgrade to my 17 motegi's. Cause the chrome would look better on black. Already poped in my gauges. Im str8.

If this is OBD 1 then you should just need to wire up one O2 sensor. The wires should be near the oil filter. Good luck with your project. The wiring is the hardest thing to get worked out! I hope your good with a volt meter!

you cant just slap parts on a motor and expect them to work together.. and going from 18's to 17's would be an upgrade .. even 17s are too big
 
you asked was it worth , to many it wasn't , but if your happy thats great , best of luck on the msall problems , personally i would love to find a teg for 4K here a rundown stock teg sell for 6k or above but they are all special imports
 
I hear ya. I testdrove one for 6 here just b4 I went n got that one. Totally stock ls. But I don't even think it was an ms motor. The guy put a new motor in buy it looked like a dohc 1.6 civic motor. Had no balls atall

where's the type R parts? those mounts look like old hasports, not ITR's
 
hmm. U got da pic b4. Cleaned it all up. Dude painted the motor gold of all colors. Looked like shitstain gold LOL.
