kid that everyone loves!
hey guys my sterring pump siezed up so i got a smaller belt and bypassed it, i took the whole strertring system out, is that ok or will i come accross problems later?

You should be fine. Just make sure there's always fluid in there though to keep the rack lubricated.

i drained the fluid out,?? if i put some in it will have no where to go unless i wana get fluid sprayed all ove my engine ?

you need to loop the lines install a "breather" tank(essentially the reservoir). Check out the threads on Honda-Tech(PS removal).

kevein can i live without doing that? or can it mess somethign up? and idk how to loop the lines, can u explain to me how?

Definitely just search "power steering delete" or removal on H-T, there's many ways to do it.

If the P/S lines are still hooked up to the P/S pump, it will make steering harder.

i have all the lines and tubes just hanging there, and i tore the old broken P.S pump out

so what do i do now u guys?

thanks

Get a brass nipple and some clamps, cut off the ends of the hose where it hooks up to the pump; and just bypass it. That's probably the easiest way.

ok i dont want that to happen?

but i really dont know how to bypass it or w.e?

im syaing that since i dont no what im doing and how to bypass it, i will just leave the tubes hang i guess?

can u help me?

you can easily help yourself by doing about 30 mins worth of reading on the subject. im sure if you cant find it here you can google it. dont let it hang with tp and dangling hoses...keep it clean and what not, but most important, do it right the first time. good luck.

WTF is with all the god damn question marks?????

You've got 2 lines in your rack. Get a breather tank, hook one port from your rack to one port in your breather, and the other port on the rack to the other port in the breather. Done.

i have to go buy a breather tank?

so basicly get one hose to dump fluid, the other one to suck fluid in , so its in a rotaion?
