One of my mentors passed on the 25th. My last Grandma passed on the 27th. There is a knot in my chest.

I want to kick the shit out of people. Happy Tuesday.

Sorry for your loss. Time will help, and it always helps to talk about it.

The funeral is Thursday. I fly out to Illinois tomorrow.

The good part is that I get to see the paternal side of my family again.

She died of cancer and according to my family it was painless. I'm stoked about the painless part.

im sorry for your loss. i have never had to deal with death, im scared shitless of the day it comes. just be strong.

People die, just have to accept it. Nothing to get angry about; she seems to have lived a full life.

Anyways, good luck.

My grandparents are all gone, and having lost 2 of them to cancer, which was extremely painful to go through, for them and for the family, you should really be thankful that she didn't suffer. It's a brutal illness that takes no mercy on anyone. Definitely a good idea to talk to someone about you're feelings.

My grandfather went the same way. He was diagnosed in 96' and died in May of 00'. But he only showed signs/was in pain for about 2 weeks before he died. The hardest part was that after 4 years we all thought he was going to beat it. He actually played 18 holes of golf in his last month.

But yea, I have both grandmothers left. My father's dad is alive but I haven't seen him in probably a decade and would like to keep it that way.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my maternal grandma about five years ago and my paternal grandma is on her way out...

Next time someone close to you dies go look in the mirror and say this to yourself.

I'm sorry for your loss my friend. I will keep you in my prayers. I lost two grandparents in one year and my grandfather a few years ago, so I can relate.

I was raised by my grandmother, and I shit bricks when shes says she doesnt feel well. I hope i can keep it cool when its her turn. ( Early twentys suck, more people around you pass away) stay strong.
