So I was cutting some PVC tubing, (see my build thread.) and I slipped a little.

Thank god I've got a spyderII green laser. 300mW of pure, unadulterated burning power.

Funny thing is that it didn't hurt, not the cut, or the burn.

what is that laser thing???
shoulda just cleaned it off and put superglue over it(superglue works awesome for closing deep cuts)

This is true, cauterizing a wound with a lazer is way cooler than superglue.

But +1 for the superglue bit. About 4 weeks ago I cut the end of my index finger, straight across the tip, right to the bone. It was stitch worthy, but I held it shut and dotted little bits of superglue across it until it was sealed off, painted that liquid skin stuff over that, then applied a fingertip bandaid in a manor that helped hold it shut. I re-did it two more times for the next two weeks, and its finally healed up. It was a pretty good one, still sore, and will scar, but the superglue worked.

Dang thats expensive, but i want it. Good thinking on the Predator/Arnold style bandaid.

Also major bad-ass-ery. No rubbing alcohol for those gentlemen. Until the tetanis sets in.

That liquid skin stuff (which I love) is just superglue with an antiseptic in it. :)

$1,736.98 for that laser. wow. sorry man. i would not spend $1,700.00 for a green laser. i dont care how far the beam points or how cool it is to seal cuts with it. i d rather use super glue that cost about 2 bucks instead.

thanks for the hi-res pic of your fingerprint.
i can now access the DOD :D

Did I ever tell you about the story behind my fingerprints?

Shortened version: They are never the same, because I'm always cutting/scraping/playing guitar. So, they can't use my fingerprints in any of the access control systems, I'd have to have someone there to manually verify me each time.

But yeah, knock yourself out. The prints pictured are about 7 months out of date.

Let's pretend you already had the laser. Now what would you rather use? Superglue for $2 or a laser that you already own?

What else can this little laser do eh?

Light matches at about 10 feet, burn holes in bluejeans, scare the shit out of drunk kids wandering in the street.... about anything you want it to do.

i say make one for free with your old computers cd burner laser, but cool none the less
