Picked it up monday night around 11. Motor ran but knocks. It needs new rod bearings.

Came with a SAFC

And a gangster purple shift nob

it had neons on the console and those light up window sprayer things.
It also had some subway, can of bondo, 2 tweeters, like 4 6x9s, and a ton of other shit.

It now sits outside my shop under a tarp with no hood or motor. We shaved my antenna and rear wiper, because it had no radio and the motor for the wiper was shot.
Sorry for the shitty pictures its from my phone.

looks like a good find!

also.. there are only 4, cell phone sized pics.. why is it a no go for 56k? :)

I had a bunch more but I was lazy and never put them up.
Lol.
I'll have more tomorrow, and I'll try to update this as much as possible.
I ordered rod bearings today and I have to go pick them up tomorrow.

Me and my white ass hairy legs. I was unbolting the drive shaft getting ready to pull the motor.

Here is a picture of what it looks like with the antenna shaved and the wiper.

The steps I took to get the job done.
1) Got a washer a little bit larger than the 2 holes.
2) Placed the washer over a piece of copper and tacked the hole in the washer to fill it in.
3) Ground the weld down flat.
4) Welded a rod onto the washer and ran it through the wiper hole from the inside of the car to the outside.
5) Had a buddy hold the rod while the washer was tacked in place.
6) Ground down the tacks.
7) Filled the area with bondo and let dry.
8) Sanded the bondo down smooth and then primered.

Did the same with the antenna hole.

(Yea I realize I got primer on the window trim.) I can get that off though. Should have taped it up.

What exactly are your plans for this car? Just curious. What year is it?

For now I'm going to repair the ka24de that was in it and use it for a daily. Then after I save up some money a sr swap is coming. Its a 89

Thats going to be the center of my masterpiece.
lol.

mmm i do love the 240's

still miss my old one. Should of just kept it and waited till i had the money for a new block -_-

I'm probably going to be doing the 5 lug swap so I can get some gram light 57d's.

Car will probably be white or black. I really wanted some purple wheels. But this is as close as I could find to a "different" color without re powder coating.

Ok. i understand your need and want for lighter wheels. really i do... but wtf? why some bright ass color? i mean. yeah. bright colors could pull it off on a full track car. but dude. DD? wtf...

Just painted a motorcycle obnoxious orange. Atomic Orange Pearl, to be exact. I happen to be quite the fan.
