I recently got a 97 black 5speed civic hatch (sweet right!), only downfall is that i got the slowest motor possible with 106hp and 103ft/lb torque. I searched for a civic hatch in mind for doing a swap and got a really great deal on this 97 hatch, so i took it with civic type r running through my head. First plan was to get b18c5 and easy swap it in. Not the fastest car, but it would be pretty darn quick. But i live where road racing is absent and drag strips are available. So i'm now thinking of an h22a swap and fabricating a turbo kit for it. It would cost about the same since b18c5's are so expensive. I've been searching for as much info on h22 swaps into 6g civics but come up short. I know its been done somewhere before. I just need to know how hard it would be, and what custom parts i'd need other than mounts of course. If it comes down to it i guess i could just have my auto mechanic teacher junk fabricate me some stuff, and with enough time and a sawzaw anything is possible. Any info is valued.
