Stupid Bastardly Projectors

I bought my 96 civic and the kid I bought it off of wired in some shitty angel eye projector head lights. Sorry if some people like them but I personally don't, well when I took them off and put the stock ones on the stock ones don't turn on, the high beams work but the normal lights don't work, can anyone shed some light on this problem.

Loose wire, most likely in those butt connectors. Get some heat shrink, a soldering iron, and some solder ($15 or less from radio shack) and repair those wires. Get rid of all of those connectors and electrical tape. Also check the fuses, wiring like that could have shorted somewhere while you were removing/installing the headlights.

Check the power at the switch. All current runs through the headlight switch, so you may want to see if the switch went bad.

Start by tracing the power from the fuse box, then follow the wiring through the switch to the headlights. Have fun.

Thanks I really appreciate all your input guys, just yesterday I got my HID Conversion in the mail and started wiring it up and when I started cutting the wires for the headlights I noticed some electrical tape further down the wires. I ripped the tape off and found out the kid who had it before me, for some odd reason cut and crimped the headlight wires and the low beam wire came out.

I hope the rest of the car wasn't repaired by this kid!!!! Sounds like a rigger to me. I hope you get it fixed, kids just don't get it do they.
