I love my Honda
well i was recently thinking about importing a car from japan... although my only concern is getting the vehicle registered in the us. i was told that as long as the vehicle can pass a US inspection. i wouldnt have a problem getting it registered. although will be a right hand drive converison.. im kinda lost on this 1... can any1 help me out here>?

So get a hold of your local BMV and ask them what would need done in order to register those vehicles.

what the fuck is a Honda 2000???

sounds like someones been watching a little too much Fast and Furious

most of what you get from allentown. I can't tell you how many shitboxes I see when I go down there with huge wings and exhausts bigger then an elephants birth canal.

It's prohibitively expensive.

You're looking at miles of paperwork, several different companies and government agencies to deal with, and a five-figure price tag.

Probably cheaper than buying a new s2k

dude, seriously, you are a fucking idiot if you think you can import a japanese vehicle and get it through customs, inspection, and emmissions of your state has it for cheaper than buying a new s2k.
most people who import a car that have never done it before usually dont make it past customs. then you get no car, and you are out the money it cost for the car and shipping.

dont like the answers you get, dont ask the fucking question.
just try it, go ahead and do it then post up your findings about it. tell us how much it took to get and loose.

stop being a fuckbag.

a jdm s2k from japan to 100% legal in your drive will easily cost you $80,000, a year of your time, and hundred of hours spent filling out forms at the NHSTA and DMV.

you're wasting your time.
