hi guys im running a b18b into a 96 civic lx i have a problem because when i get the car to 8000rmp the clutch get stuck somebody told me that is because my car have to much torque but idont know so can someone help me i need to buy a new clutch and i dont even know wich one is the better for my car

i like exceddy myself but theres no way your motor is making power that high in the rpm range with out being built

B18 with torque at 8k? Keep romping on it like that, and you will have more issues on your plate than what clutch to get...

No matter what clutch you put in there, if your motor isn't built for high RPM's, it isn't going to perform any better at higher RPM's.

:werd: and :werd:

Why the hell are you revving your LS to 8k RPMs?

I'm biased towards Exedy. I love their clutches. When I sold my CRX, I put 25k on my Exedy and that is daily driving and drag racing damn near every weekend. The guy who has my CRX now has put 10k more on the car and says the clutch still has yet to start slipping and he's boosting my old motor now.

I've heard nothing but good things about ACT as well but I have noticed that ACT pressure plates are a bit more stiffer than Exedy's no matter what 'stage' they are.

I've heard mixed reviews about Clutch Masters. Go check out HMT's clutch guy. They love his clutches over there.

tilton makes the best clutches but your car is a shitbox so it wouldnt be worth it!

And who are you to judge this? Have you seen this car?

What's up with the onslaught of sophomoric mentalities these days? Seems like you can't swing a dead cat without hitting some new asshat around here.

yeah what the hell is this guy talking about.... judging by his avatar pic, his car is a ricer mexi-mobile with its sweet altezza lights and chrome 17s hahahahahaha

This applies to you too.

You probably broke a valve-spring. Just take the oil-cap off, and put both tubes of JB-Weld into it, then you should be good to go. Just run it at about 5000 rpm for about a minute in the driveway, then bring it up to 7500. Should be good to go.

thanks for the help i got e multiplate excedy! thanks tho! but check my new ride a 95 gsr integra dc2

soo you are saying that my car is a shitbox!? take a look to this photos of my new 95 integra gsr DC2 with a CRVTEC

I've always used exedy, never had a problem, and I've installed 5 in 5 different cars so far. I did my teggy about 4 years ago and its still kicking ass and taking names.
