Yay for DOHC VTEC ^_^
so I made it back safely with no problems.
It was quite the experience, and call me crazy if you like; I would not mind going back.

Until then, I am really glad to be back home. I missed everyone so much~ a greater appreciation towards life and all the simple things I took for granted ^^

Gomez is back!!!!!

glad you're back, dood!! well done.

Welcome back dude !

Got any confirmed kills ?

The sad/good part of it all, I never fired it. It got cleaned frequently though; they would of been sorry if they wanted to try anything.
All in all, I would say it was an ideal situation you know?

sweet welcome back:cool:
Thank you- it's good to be home ^_^

Welcome back, bud
Gracias! I was glad to step back here in the US & A

Footage of things being blown to bits at least?

Welcome back, glad you made it.

I got footage of a dust tornado- that's about it. I heard things blown up- EOD gets to have all the fun (well, part of the time)

Look on the bright side, at least you don't have the death of another human being weighing on your soul for the rest of your life. I have some friends who were there in the thick of the shit and they're some seriously fucked up people now. Nothing like they used to be.

:werd: killing someone even if it is in a war situation isn't something to take lightly.

I remember when you left. Welcome home dude.

how long till you go back? everyone i know around here has at least been twice, and some on their 3rd tour...

Glad you made it home safe. And just a friendly word of advice, while over there don't put anything on the issued laptops that you don't want anyone to see. I know it gets boring/ lonely over there, but there are a lot of *nice* pics making it back state side.

glad you are safe!

if you go back and meet a SPC trevor wilson, combat medic, punch him in the gut for me. i couldnt find it in me to hit him when he was down after i knocked him on his ass with one punch to the face.

Yup, I have a marine cousin who was in one of the batallions that cleared Baghdad and that other city they holed up in. Fighting close quarters in apartment complexes, etc. He doesn't talk about it at all, but he left a quiet christian mommas boy and came back a heavy alcoholic. He drinks constantly now. Was suicidal for a short time there.
