ok so i want it off , so that i can screw the new one on u no? so i am asking for and tips or ways i can get the old one off , i have a saw's all and i might try to chop the bolts off but please any way to get this thing off!

thanks!!!!!!!1

i say in the middle where the flange comes together

so try to like cut at each end of the old cat? and then it should come right off, if i cut through tthe bolts that way it will come off

but any other way?

thanks so much tech

ill do my best do u think i should be able to get it tho????

naa not really lol, id take it to a shop and put it on a rack torch it off, but good luck trying to find a shop that will mess with the cat. if it was alabama it would be easy

You're still having problems with your car, and now you're messing with the exhaust system, a modification that will probably need your engine to be tuned.

Srsly, fix, then play.

If it were my car, I would take it to a shop like they are saying. Have the shop chop it off, where they can also weld new flanges on there. Then you can bolt it back in there. By not welding the cat itself in there, it will allow you the opportunity to change it out in the future.

the flanges aare already goos its just the cat and its bolts are so rusted i cant seem to unscrew them

but im going to try and saw all the heads of the bolts off

o srry typo i meant to say the flanges are good but i said goos accident

yah theere goos just need to get those bolts off... thinking of ways how

Do you have a breaker bar? If not, go buy one. Or, if you're cheap, you can just put a long piece of pipe over your ratchet. Try soaking the bolts down again with WD-40 or PB-Blaster or whatever you're using, and then crank on them with the breaker bar. You might be surprised what happens...
