I have an account with my local Honda Dealer, but not Acura. My 2000 Integra Type R will need to have its clutch replaced soon. In order for me to get my discount, I have to get it from a Honda Dealership. I have found all the parts (Disc, Throwout Bearing, and Pilot Bearing) , fit other various Honda models. The part number for the Pressure Plate does not show up in the locator. The part # is not the same as a 99-00 Civic Si, however, when ordering an aftermarket clutch kit, the fitment guide shows all B series VTEC clutch kits are the same.

Is it safe to assume the 99-00 Civic Si Pressure plate is interchangeable with the 00 Integra Type R?

u can use the pressure plate off the si it is interchangeable. now it might be the that the type r might hold a tad bit more force. but im not 100% sure on that statement as for fitment it will fit 100% sure on that.

You should be able to order Acura parts from a honda dealer. I do it all the time. My guy just calls and orders it and I still get it at cost.

That may depend on whether the Honda and Acura dealers are under the same ownership or not, if not that would be like ordering parts from GM for an Acura.

Why go OEM on the clutch? OEM is made by the same company that makes Exedy, you can likely get a stage 1 for cheaper than your cost on OEM and it's better.
