I am going to turbo my 94 ls coupe and i already have a garret 60 trim turbo, is that way too big or will it work fine if i put all new internals n build the head a lil bit

Have you even done any research on this? It's going to suck if you just jump on the boost wagon without doing some homework and end up making yourself a costly mistake, both monetarily and time...
 
For the goals idk yet prolly somewhere is the high 200's is fine. i have a turbocharged nissan 240sx n this was the turbo i was going to use. For the budget im just going to spend along the way but pretty much can do anything
 
Hp goals i would be fine as long as its in the high 200's but if i can do more i will. I currently own a turbocharged 240sx with this turbo in it. I was going to use it if i could but i didnt know if there would be too much turbo lag. Budget pretty much anything i can do

you don't need to replace internals unless ur looking for 300+ if u keep it in the 200's ur fine.
 
You can run any size turbo you want. It's all in the tune. If you aren't going to tune the car, it's not worth your time or money to do it.

With that, you need to figure out what you want to use the car for. Use it as a fun DD and cruise it around town, or an autox setup, or a drag queen, or a trailer whore. Different turbos will net you different results as far as when they spool, where they create power, things of that nature.

like george said its all in the tune. u can't always expect an equation of X amount of psi will equal X amount of horsepower. set a decided amount of hp or whp and people can help ya out more.
 
my buddy never officially went to a track but he ran the quarter in a run down part of the highway around where i live, he had a 95 gsr pushing 250-280 hp. i don't think you should be gettin on here and askin people how much boost to push, it isn't like u just turn a dial and bam u have a 12 sec car. if u got someone helpin ya that knows what their doin then its cool. if its a local shop i hope u can trust them
 
i had my buddy tune my 240sx and i ran a 12.2 on 15 psi on a stock motor so i was wondering what i am going to need to make my ls run in the 13's. like wat injectors, do i need a different fuel system, should i put internals in the car what else do i need?
 
+1 Unless its a stock RB26 turbo your not running 12s on a stock block, and even if you did have the stock RB26, I still dont think it will run 12s.
